What is the verified Christian business badge and why should I add it?

The badge is a small graphic you put on your own website showing you're a verified Christian business on LocateFaith. It does two jobs at once.

It's a trust mark. Someone landing on your site sees straight away that you're part of a Christian business directory, before they've read a word about you.

It's a backlink, and that part is worth understanding. A backlink is just a link to LocateFaith sitting on someone else's website. Google treats links like votes: the more good sites that link to us, the more Google trusts our pages, and the higher our listings rank. Higher-ranking listings mean more people finding the businesses on here, including yours.

So the badge isn't us asking a favor. Every member who adds it lifts the search visibility of every listing, and yours is one of them. It's one of the few things where helping the directory and helping yourself are the same action.
