I signed up through Instagram or another app and nothing happened

If you tapped a link inside Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or another app and nothing happened when you tried to create your account or pay, the app's built-in browser is almost always the cause. Those in-app browsers cut corners on cookies and redirects, and signup can stall because of it.

The fix is simple: open the link in your real browser instead.

• Instagram or Facebook: tap the three-dot menu in the corner, then choose "Open in browser" (or "Open in Safari" or "Open in Chrome").
• TikTok: tap the three-dot or share icon in the top corner, then choose "Open in browser."
• Anything else: look for a share or menu icon and choose to open the page in your browser. If you cannot find it, copy the link, open Safari or Chrome yourself, and paste it in.
